FreeStudentTools.com uses a small number of cookies to keep the site running, remember your preferences, and (with your consent) measure how people use the site. This page explains exactly which cookies are set, what they do, and how to control them.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser. It lets a website remember information between page visits — for example, that you accepted our cookie notice, or which language you chose. Cookies can't run code or carry viruses.

We do not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies that follow you across other websites. The tools on this site (PDF converter, OCR, citation generator, etc.) process files entirely in your browser — no file data is sent to our servers or stored in cookies.
Third-party services
Affiliate travel widgets (Travel Hub page only). Our Travel Hub embeds a flight search widget and links to travel affiliate partners. These third-party services may set their own cookies when you interact with their widgets. FreeStudentTools does not control those cookies — refer to each partner's privacy policy for details.
Google Translate. The language switcher uses Google Translate, which may set a googtrans cookie to remember your chosen language. Google's privacy policy applies.
How to control cookies
You can withdraw or change your consent at any time by clearing your browser's cookies and local storage (Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data in most browsers). You can also configure your browser to block or delete cookies:
Note: blocking all cookies may affect functionality — the consent banner will reappear and language preferences won't be saved.
